Most Diet Products don't work

I have looked into a few diet products and followed this small contest done by TrimXS but the reality is that most diet products are too costly and just don't work.  If you have a perpetual weight problem the best thing to spend you money on is a counselor for mental and or a trainer for fitness and diet.  The only proven way to lose weight for the long term is lifestyle change to a program that includes healthier food choices and more calorie burning exercise.  Strength training to add muscle mass can help burn more calories but you have to be sure to no cut out all of your protein.  If you restrict your protein too much you will lose muscle mass and likely feel more hunger. 
The Trimxs diet plan really doesn't work unless you go on a calorie restricted diet.  Which is why most people want to use the product in the first place.  The product claims to curb hunger but their are diets that you can use that are very healthy and will do the same thing.  The Perricone diet is one of the best programs you can use. 
It is not based on any fad or any special product.  It is based on healthy foods and sound research. I have used the diet myself and after a few months it does exactly what it claims to do.  The foods themselves can help curb your cravings. 
The diet is high in Omega 3s gotten from Wild Alaskan Salmon, walnuts and Almonds among other things. 
After seeing all the diet fads and products on the market the truth is that  that eating less, more healthfully and exercising  more are the best ways to lose weight and keep it off. 

Healthier choices are a must but so is an exercise routine that you stick to to burn calories.

Problems with Carbs?

We have not heard as much lately about the carbohydrate problem that seemed to be keeping people from losing weight but we seem to be addicted to anything that is a carbohydrate.  Why?  Probably because they taste good and they satisfy our hunger.  Sometimes it is called comfort food.

When people decide to lose weight or go on a diet they dread the thought of not being able to eat carbs.  We have become so used to eating useless carbohydrates that it is hard to stop.  The words comfort foods should be a hint to why dieting is so difficult and why so many people struggle with weight loss.  Often there are psychological reasons why people eat.  It is one of the ways people use to fill up some void or to avoid feeling other feelings.  The biggest problem with this is that as people gain weight they do actually change their body chemistry making it harder and harder for them to lose weight.  It could have been an issues of some that lead a person to over eat and gain weight but even once that issue is resolved it still might be hard to jump start your body back into fat burning mode.

This is why so many people will begin to see signs of type II diabetes and find it so difficult to burn fat, especially belly fat.  Of course there are millions of weight loss products on the market but they all claim to do the same thing and they all are costly.

How can you lose a pound a day?
